About Peggy

Petal Print Designs arose out of my love for cards and stationary, especially hand written note cards. I am totally into writing thank-you cards and feel the art of the handwritten note has been lost in our rapidly expanding age of technology. I think we need to think more about heartfelt written note cards and less about impersonal e-mails.

As a young adult, and when I could afford cards, I was attracted to Hallmark and other stationary stores. In fact, I often spoke about how much fun it would be to own a Hallmark store! I was in awe of the colors, designs, and paper textures. I am a card collector turned designer.

As a designer, I focus on simplicity and the colors that complement the mood and tone of the card. I am attracted to vibrant cards and floral paper, yet always mindful to keeping it simple. I also love black and white because it “never goes out of style”. My cards will be attractive to people of all ages.

My passion for flowers inspired my business name: Petal Print Designs. You will find on my cards petals and floral prints; flowers bring smiles to faces!!

Have you ever loved a card, but it expressed the wrong greeting/sentiment? Now is your opportunity to have the greetings of your choice. I will also be offering cards in many different sizes and shapes. I have a collection called “Family and Friends” where you will have a selection of cards that you can purchase in varying quantities and price points.

My family and friends would say I am fun, unique, extremely creative, and passionate about life and its beauty. My dream is to bring life to the cards and notes I create. My new business has allowed me to combine my passion for cards and flowers.

I live in Wisconsin with my husband Kevin, daughter Katie and our two labs Calvin and Hobbes. As my daughter says, my business is a “hobby turned global”!

I hope you find as much fun enjoyment in my cards as I do creating them.

Peggy
